audrey on beauty

"For Attractive lips, speak words of kindness
For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people.
For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry.
For beautiful hair, let a child run their fingers through it once a day.
For poise, walk with the knowledge that you never walk alone.
People, more than things, have to be
restored
renewed
revived
reclaimed, and
redeemed

Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, you will find one at the end of each of your arms.

As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands, one for helping yourself and the other for helping others."

Don't you just want to give her a hug? (and then ask her who her stylist was) Oh how I wish I could have known her.  We would have been great friends I think....maybe this is why she inspired my look for last Friday.  Don't ask me why I didn't get even ONE picture the entire night.  okay ask me.  it's because I don't have a camera.

a few more {hundred} dollars, and I'm off to my photo class!

  3. Remi, I just love this quote. I love you for doing this blog. Who doesn't need to just take a minute to slow down, take a deep breath, and notice the beauty all around and even inside? Thank you for sharing!

  4. Hi Remi!

I often get all geeked out on Audrey. Whenever I feel down, I pop in Roman Holiday or Funny Face. The clothes alone are enough to lift my spirits.

    My favorite Audrey quote:

"I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong. I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day, and I believe in miracles"

Natalie shared your blog link with me. (I hope that's okay!) I so admire your strength and vulnerability. This is such an inspired journey. Thanks for letting me stop by! :) xxo
